Land O Lakes Colostrum Replacement

Land O Lakes Colostrum Replacement
LAND O LAKES Colostrum Replacement is a single dose replacement for maternal colostrum in the first day of life. It provides 100 grams or more of IgG in 16.6 oz of powder (>20% IgG). Because it is made from natural bovine colostrum, it helps to achieve successful passive transfer.

Real Bovine Colostrum – Bovine IgG Colostrum Replacement is dried natural bovine colostrum. It gives calves the next best thing to maternal colostrum.
Calf Immunity Support – Each dose of nutrient-rich colostrum replacement provides more than 100 grams of immunoglobulins (IgGs) to achieve passive transfer and immunity support. Colostrum replacement also gives newborn calves the energy needed in the first 12 hours of life. As a result, it helps calves to overcome the stress of birth.
USDA Approved – Bovine IgG Colostrum Replacement is licensed and tested by the USDA.  Each batch is tested on calves to ensure product meets passive transfer requirements.
For Every Situation – LAND O LAKES Bovine IgG Colostrum Replacement can replace maternal colostrum. It is ideal for getting a newborn calf off to a good start.

Feeding

Colostrum Replacement Mixing and Feeding Instructions
Mix colostrum replacement powder with 110-120°F water. Always weigh colostrum replacement powder for accurate mixing. The colostrum replacement should be 105°F when delivered to the calf. Follow label directions to meet the desired levels of IgG.

Dairy Calf and Heifer Association Gold Standards recommend feeding colostrum or colostrum replacement at a rate of 10 percent of the calf’s body weight within the first 2 hours of life.

Feeding Calves for Best Results
Begin feeding calf milk replacer on day 2 after colostrum or colostrum replacement feeding. Provide fresh, clean water along with a high-quality, palatable calf starter feed on a free-choice basis. Only use low sodium water (<50 ppm) for mixing milk replacer and feeding calves.
