Ozark Sheep & Goat Livestock Camp
Attention all livestock enthusiasts! The Farmer’s Coop in Ozark and the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture are excited to announce a Sheep & Goat Livestock Camp happening this upcoming summer. The camp is open to youth ages 8-18, regardless of experience level. Whether you’re a beginner or have intermediate show skills, you’re sure to learn a lot from the experienced show stewards leading this camp. The camp is split into two different types of livestock: sheep and goat and is held at the North Franklin County Fairgrounds, located at 802 N 29th Street in Ozark, AR. They’ll take place June 9-10, 2023.
If you’ve never shown livestock before or are new to it, don’t worry! The experienced livestock show stewards from the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture and Farmer’s Coop Ozark will lead you through all aspects of showing. They’ll work with campers in a variety of ways, including hands-on activities, demonstrations, and lectures. You’ll learn about fitting and showing, daily care, showmanship, and much more.
The Sheep & Goat Camp takes place over two days. It will start at 8:00 am on Friday, June 9th, and finish at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 10th. Campers will enjoy a free lunch on the first day and donuts on the second day, available at 7:30 a.m. See details below:

Friday, June 9, 8:00 am – 5:00 p.m. Lunch provided. Sheep session in the morning, goats in the afternoon.
Saturday, June 10, 7:30 am – 11:00 a.m. Donuts provided.
