Farmer's Coop Spring Livestock Camps 2023

Ozark Beef & Swine Livestock Camp

Attention all livestock enthusiasts! The Farmer’s Coop in Ozark and the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture are excited to announce two free livestock camps happening this upcoming summer. The camps are open to youth ages 8-18, regardless of experience level. Whether you’re a beginner or have intermediate show skills, you’re sure to learn a lot from the experienced show stewards leading the camps. Find out all the details you need to know about the camps so that you can register and prepare to have the time of your life!

The camps are split into two different types of livestock: beef and swine, as well as sheep and goat. Both camps will be held at the North Franklin County Fairgrounds, located at 802 N 29th Street in Ozark, AR. They’ll take place in late May and early June 2023.

If you’ve never shown livestock before or are new to it, don’t worry! The experienced livestock show stewards from the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture and Farmer’s Coop Ozark will lead you through all aspects of showing. They’ll work with campers in a variety of ways, including hands-on activities, demonstrations, and lectures. You’ll learn about fitting and showing, daily care, showmanship, and much more.
