Farmers Coop helping farmers with a truckload of donated feed heading to Western Oklahoma, and to the farmers and ranchers affected by the recent wildfires. Hundreds of miles away, wildfires have ravaged fields, equipment, and farms in Western Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas and Colorado. Many farms lost most crops and livestock to the flames, which means they not only lost the majority of their income for the coming year but have to re-build from the ground up. At Farmers Coop, we’re stepping up to help our fellow farmers. Last week, Farmers Coop donated a truck full of feed and Stewart Transportation, out of Weleeka, Oklahoma, donated transportation, to get the feed to the folks who need it most. Farmers helping farmers. If you would like to help the fine folks affected by the wildfire, check with your local extension office for ways to donate.
